I found this long stem rose in a rock bed beside the sidewalk along King St. E. I wonder what it was doing there? Unrequited love? In memory of someone? The person got tired of carrying it?

This is my first attempt at desaturating parts of a photo. I'm sure there's a way to make it blend a little better...oh well, I have to start somewhere!
